Lake Shore Ward
Lake Shore is a small settlement west of Spanish Fork, near the edge of Utah Lake. I don't have a date on when the Lake Shore Ward was built; it appears to have been right around 1950.
The original one room Lake Shore chapel was built in 1892. A rear hall was added in 1915. It was later demolished in 1940 to make way for a new larger building. The new Ward building was built in the same location and completed in 1943. In 1957 the west wing was added. Extensive remodeling was done during the mid 1970s. In 1986 a larger chapel, cultural hall, and the steeple were added to what it is now.
