This mural shows Captain Moroni holding the Title of Liberty. I believe the signature says "Bill Hill 1960," if I read it correctly.
There are some pretty nice details in the back of the painting, too.
On the other wall of the lobby is this painting, clearly painted for this ward:
The second painting is by Greg Olsen and includes his wife, father and mother-in-law, all longtime Whittier Ward Members.
ReplyDeleteBill Hill was a member of the Whittier Ward when he painted the mural. It was amazing as kids in the Ward.
