The Nibley Ward Meetinghouse, built in 1925, is a typical twin-style design, with the chapel in one wing and the cultural hall in the other. This was an early type, and the cultural hall was built 2 years later. The wings themselves weren't connected until sometime around 1960.

The building is now a preschool.
Neat. I just received some news. The 16th ward chapel in Salt Lake City 129 North 600 West was demolished a couple months ago. It was a private residence before then. It looked very similar to this one.
ReplyDeleteOh man, thanks for the update. It looks like it was a typical Colonel's Twins pattern. Sad I didn't get a picture of that one, at least. I believe it's been a private residence for a long time now.
