Salt Lake 15th Ward

Built in 1904, this Gothic chapel has many similar counterparts in other areas of Salt Lake City. It had an addition built in the 1920s.

While it is still standing, it was sold in the late 1960s. It has passed ownership a few times, and it now used as a recording studio.

There are signs of disrepair throughout the building.

  1. Thank you for the work you put into this blog. I really appreciate seeing the architecture of the Church around the world. In a case like this 15th Ward chapel, and with other locations, could you also insert the location address? I would like to drive by some of these if I'm in the neighborhood.

    1. I've been meaning to go back and put addresses on my posts! The problem is there are so many posts now...it will be quite the project. However, I know this one is on the corner of 100 S and 900 W in Salt Lake City.
