Exploring & documenting historic temples, tabernacles and chapels of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as the LDS or Mormon Church).
This chapel was built in the 1860s, when West Jordan was a small settlement. In the 1930s, it became a museum for the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. I believe it is now owned by the city. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places.
It's on 7800 S at around 1100 W. There is a TRAX station right next to it. It's kind of off of the main road, so most people probably wouldn't notice it unless they went up to the building lot itself.
Where in West Jorden is this? I never saw it while I lived in the area!
